benefit from. The result is ResumePal. The companies behind ResumePal include Jobfox, the Internet’s first career site
to bring precision matching to online recruiting, and the leading providers of applicant tracking solutions, including ADP (ADP Virtual Edge), Kenexa, Oracle,
SAP, SilkRoad technology and Softscape. For more information about the companies and the employers using their job
application products, go to our Employers page.
Q: Do I need a resume in order to get a ResumePal?
A: ResumePal will automatically
pull the key elements from your resume for your profile and then attach a copy
of your resume. Employers are 300% more
likely to look at your profile if they see you have a resume attached. Although it’s not required, it is highly
recommended that you upload your resume. You can always create your ResumePal now and
attach your resume at a later date.
Q: Will my current employer see my ResumePal?
A: ResumePal is not a resume database. No one will see your ResumePal
profile until you submit it to an employer. Employers do not have direct access to the ResumePal database. They can only see your ResumePal profile if
you submit it directly to them. You control where you apply with your ResumePal, so no one gets your information
unless you give it to them. Unlike traditional resume databases, you are in complete control of your privacy and information.
Q: Why can't I search directly for jobs on ResumePal.com?
A: ResumePal.com is not a job database or job board. It is a website where you,
the job seeker, create a free ResumePal which you can then use when you apply to jobs with thousands of employers accepting ResumePal
nationwide, with just one click.
Q: Can I update or close my ResumePal profile whenever I want?
Yes. Updating your ResumePal with new work experiences, education, location or contact details is a snap.
Simply log on at www.ResumePal.com and make any changes
necessary. All of the employers that you’ve submitted your ResumePal to in the past will automatically receive your new
information. You can close your ResumePal profile whenever you want.
Q: I’ve heard of Jobfox. How is ResumePal different?
A: Jobfox provided the profile process and matching technology for ResumePal. However, ResumePal
profiles are not automatically placed into Jobfox’s candidate database. In order to be
matched to the thousands of jobs specifically posted on Jobfox,
simply visit www.Jobfox.com and log in
using your ResumePal ID and password, which automatically imports
your ResumePal profile over to Jobfox.
Q: I already have a Jobfox profile. Can I use my Jobfox profile at ResumePal?
A: Yes. As a Jobfox candidate, you automatically have a ResumePal. When you find a job
listing with an employer that accepts ResumePal, simply apply using your Jobfox ID and password, which is also your ResumePal ID and password.
Q: How long does it take to create my ResumePal?
A: This depends on how many job
experiences you've had, and the profession of those experiences. Some
professions are narrowly defined, while others can be extremely diverse, taking
a little more time to profile. You can expect to spend approximately 10-20
minutes per job experience entered. This one time investment in managing your
career data will save you a lot of time in the long run, as you can use your
ResumePal at thousands of websites to apply to jobs or to match to jobs from
multiple employers at Jobfox.com.
Q: Why do you need my contact information?
A: Your email address is your ResumePal
ID. Your contact info is what gets submitted
to employers when you apply to their jobs using ResumePal. Using your current mailing address, phone
number and email address will help ResumePal match you with all of the
appropriate jobs for you at companies you apply to, while giving recruiters several
ways to contact you about current and future job openings.
Q: Is my privacy protected on ResumePal?
A: ResumePal does not share your
personal information or career information with anyone without your
permission. Your personal information
goes into a secure database that only you can share with employers by applying
to their jobs or by logging on to Jobfox.com to be matched with thousands of
jobs posted on Jobfox. ResumePal does
not sell, rent, or share ResumePal profile information with any outside
organizations or individuals without your prior consent.
